Apple Watch unpairs on iOS 16.1

I am running Zwift on Apple TV 4K. I connect all my devices using the iOS companion app (smart trainer, power meter/cadence and Apple Watch)

However when starting a ride the heart rate from my Apple Watch unpairs almost immediately. When I quite the AW app and restarts it, it pairs but also unpairs after a few seconds.

Anyone else seeing this?

iOS 16.1 beta / watchOS 9.1 beta / Zwift 1.29.1

As a first troubleshooting step, roll back to non-beta software.
