I know this isn’t directly an in game issue. But every time I use Zwift 1.118 and then exit. It leaves an issue on the Apple TV A2843 (128GB) OS 26.5 (23L471).
I have to restart the Apple TV to be able to watch Shows on Apple TV, Prime, YouTube, MLB anything that plays video.. I causes the video playback to stop after 9 seconds.. press play again and again 9 seconds later stops again… This continues until the Apple TV is restarted.
Zwift leaves the Apple TV in a state that causes this.. I have reproduced this a number of times now and this only occurs after Zwifting.
Thanks for the report on game version 1.118. Question for you - when you exit Zwift - are you also force-quitting Zwift, or just swiping into the background to get to a different app?
The difference is that backgrounding leaves Zwift running, and taking up memory. Would you try force-quitting and see if that solves things for you?
Are there other Apple TV users running into this issue with game version 1.118? Please speak up if you’re also experiencing this.
I’m sorry, I was incorrect in saying I was on 1.118
I was actually on 1.117.. Yesterday I had checked for an update before riding, and then when I was then looking on the forum, I just got it in my head I was on the latest version.. and put it as 1.118 Rolling update delay on Apple TV
But in respect to the issue I always force quit (swipe up) after every ride. So as you say Zwift is no longer in memory.
