Zwift shuts down at about 28 minutes. Set up: Vizio TV and Apple TV unit. When I turn the TV off and then back on, Zwift comes up exactly where I left it. App? Apple TV? Vizio TV? Any help? I have unplugged both the TV and the Apple TV unit.
If the game continues running but the display blacks out, that doesn’t sound like a Zwift application problem. My guess is HDMI cable, or the TV, or the HDMI port on the TV (you might have another one to try). If you have another cable or another display you could use to test it, that seems like a good way to go.
I would also make sure the Apple TV device is fully updated and rebooted, but offhand I would say this is something about the display or its connection.
When you say ‘exactly’ where you left off, is this regardless of how long the TV is off? Or if you leave the TV off for 5 minutes, are you 5 minutes farther down the road?
I’m wondering if your TV just isn’t recognizing that you’re Zwifting, and is doing an activity and is, effectively, doing an inactivity shutdown.
