Any way to save favorite routes?r

I’m relatively new to Zwift and have not been able to find a way to “favorite” certain routes. I thought I had found exactly what I needed via the “My List” feature in the Zwift Companion app, but these routes seem to disappear once I ride them.

What I’m shooting for is a quick way to repeat rides that I’ve enjoyed, one that doesn’t require hunting though Zwift’s clunky full list of routes. Can anyone help?

I’m not sure if this counts as help or not but unfortunately the feature you desire does not exist.

Thanks for responding, Paul. I saw that feature request earlier and was hoping with it being two years old that it had been implemented, but I guess not. Such basic functionality.

With the My List feature, Zwift could even just add a toggle for “remove rides from My List when complete” and boom, they’ve built favorites v1 with minimal additional effort.

I was just thinking the same maybe if the my list feature had an add and pin type feature so it’s always there.

Hopefully somebody at zwift reads this and things about it

I gave similar feedback when they introduced it which Shuji noted…

I have a feeling that it’s deliberate to encourage (aka force) you to “explore” rides you aren’t interested in.

I would love a way to pin “Road to Sky” to the home screen so I can just go straight to it avoiding everything else. I’d actually hide the events as well and get rid of the promo carousels that I’m not interested in.

No votes for any of this so I suppose it won’t happen.

Probably can all be put in the same bucket of allow users to customise the home screen.

I get they want to advertise new things at the top which is fine but it would be great to allow is to move/hide the other tiles as i reckon 90% of users probably only make use of a few regular tiles.

A quick look on Companion app for Android suggests you can add completed routes to “my list.” The list then appears near top of main screen in Zwift.

It won’t stay there though. If you ride it or even just start a ride on it without beginning to pedal and then trash the activity, it is removed from the My List queue.

My steps to get to Road to Sky:

Navigate to routes screen
Choose Watopia
Sort by Elevation gain
Choose descending (high to low)
Scroll down to find road to Sky

Every time. Too many steps.

Same here, bumping it up. New to Zwift and I’m astonished how bad the UX is… Just let players save favourite routes please…

You can, just use My List in Companion. Then when you log in to start a ride they’re all right at the top.

If you add workouts to My List they’ll disappear once you’ve selected it (don’t know why that’s still a thing) but routes will always stay on your list.

That works once but then you have to add it again after you do the route or start it

I think this suggestion is still relevant…

Workouts disappear, routes stay (at least for me).

Wish they’d fix it for workouts though, some of my favourites are impossible to find easily in game.

Routes were disappearing for me when I posted this. Stopped using the feature for this reason. Will check again this evening to see if there has been a change.

Save them and possibly tag them and they are easy to find under your custom workouts. [In game that is, doesn’t work in ZCA ]

@B_Jimmy Confirmed that this does NOT work. I added Watopia - Navig8 from the companion app, which causes it to appear under For You on the Zwift homescreen. Then I rode Navig8 today. It is no longer listed under For You, making this useless for saving favorites.

Zwift has modelled this feature more as a shopping list than a favorites list. Many of us would like the option to make selections persistent (aka favorites).
