Hi there-I was riding the 45min rider’s choice in ERG mode, through the end of the ride (a km before the Volcano KOM peak) I decided to turn off ERG mode, however, the resistance did not even slightly change even if I was riding up 6-10% gradients. I needed more power only when I shifted down the gears. What gives?
when you turn off ERG you won’t feel the inclines. Turning ERG off put you in manual resistance mode where you control the resistance using the ± buttons on the keyboard or the incline button on the companion app.
