I have an ASUS laptop with a M6800XT and 5800 CPU. GPU temps at 58C and CPU at 93C
Yeah well I have a 650W PSU on my gaming rig and really it should be 750W to get you decent 4K graphics so it gives you some idea of what power is required.
Laptops are not great, you simply cannot get the heat out of them, its a compact design.
I did a test on my Hp Pavilion “Gaming” Laptop with the GTX1650 and the 150W PSU gets too hot to hold so reality is it was not going to make a long term reliable solution. It was good for benchmarking what I needed however for a PC and allowed be to arrive at an RTX5070.
