I posted this on Zwift Insider as well - Does anybody known how to add a Quickfire 30 workout to their “plan”? There isn’t a challenge card for it on the ZCA nor are they listed anywhere in the workouts list. Thanks in advance for any insight!
Hi @TDFischer
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Thanks for flagging up this miss - we’ve added Quickfire 30 to the Challenges row of the Zwift Companion app via a server-side switch. You can add it to your Plan from that Challenges tile.
If you don’t see it - try logging out of Companion from the ZC Settings menu and log back in to force a refresh.
Hey @shooj - thanks for the quick response, already used it to schedule a few Quickfire workouts!
Would be nice to have the “Quickfire 30” workouts added to workouts in-game list.
This way, one could do, for example, climb of the week and one of the workouts at the same time (didn’t saw any way to achieve this) or do 2 workouts in a row while completing a longer route .
I moved your question to this topic which has advice about how to access it.
Hi @Paul_Southworth , thanks for the reply, but unless I am missing something obvious, I don’t see how this helps. I can do a “planned workout” when I am already on a route, and a I can’t select Climb of the week and scheduling a workout or selecting in main menu.
So the question remains,
How can i make a Quickfire 30 workour in Climb of the Week?
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. We appreciate wanting to knock out two different Challenges at the same time, but I’m pretty sure that’s not possible. That’s because the Climb Portal featured routes aren’t accessible via the World > Route selector. They’re on a rotating schedule that are accessible in their own Challenge.
Hi @shooj
Well, it was possible on previous workout challenges.
One would select first the climb of the week (or some other portal climb) enter the route, and then in-game go to menu → workouts and the workout from the challenge shows up there. On this “Quickfire 30” the workouts don’t show up.
Usually you can select CotW from the tile, wait for Zwiift to drop you in France, and then choose a workout from the in-game workout menu. That way you can get the two-fer.
The only reason it can’t be done with the Quickfire30 workouts is because there’s no sign of them in the in-game workouts menu.
I wonder if you can complete the CotW challenge by manually navigating into the portal after starting a workout in the appropriate world (?)
Exactly this!
Any update regarding this?
@Paul_Southworth can this be moved back since its not solved in this post?
I spoke to staff about this today and they are talking about it so I think you are OK from the perspective of getting their attention. I suggested that all campaign workouts should be in the library.
Best thing to do is click on the workout, click on copy, then it will be in your custom workouts. You can also edit to make it longer or shorter, even remove chat/advice.
You will retain this, even if wuickfire is removed from available list.
Interesting approach!
Have you tried it, to check if it counts to the challenge?
The copy is just to add to favorites.
Sometimes Zwift will add to their library and sometimes not.
I recently saved the interval workout from quickfire. I plan to do it again soon.
It should not count toward the challenge if you make a copy of it. It just makes it available to ride whenever you want.
