Active Recovery Rides

Can there be a short warm-up and cool-down for Active Recovery rides? Currently (at least in the Active Offseason Plan) there is none. I know the Watts are only Zone 1, but a 3 minute warmup/cooldown on each side would be great.

The purpose of an active recovery ride is just that: riding at a low pace with maybe a tad higher rpm than normal and not too long. You should feel better at the end of such rides meaning that your hr lowers and legs feel supple. No need for a warm up or cooling down. It’s recovery.
