The race title says it has a 1444m climb. But the actual race is only 1044m. This is very disconcerting for first timers.
Does anyone know why the race says 1444m? Is it a simple typo?
It is probably a Typo by the race organizer.

Historic typo from when the route started further away. Not sure why organiser hasn’t got it fixed.

I’ve done the race a couple of times now - and it’s certainly easier when you know how far there is to go.
