just updated to geforce latest driver
Windows machine? Guarantee it’s windows defender.
Search how to disable specific apps and folders from being scanned; in this case zwiftapp and the pictures/zwift folder.
Defender REALLY bogs systems down on file creations. Been fighting this again myself doing picture album scanning.
Uninstall GeForce…that’s huge bloat, let windows update your GPU drivers or if you need to, download direct from the Nvidia site.
Also you could stop Defender scanning zwiftapp as @Andrew_Nuse has suggested..
What kind of storage is it? Is that SSD?
Also you should have video screenshots enabled by default, so turn that off if you want better performance.
There is usually no benefit to running the latest Nvidia drivers when using Zwift. You can just use the stable driver provided by Microsoft.
Sorry, but this is surely no guarantee - using Zwift at Windows PC since 2018, now Windows 11, I have absolutely no issues with Defender.
I haven’t had any issues with Defender interfering with Zwift on Windows 10 or 11. I don’t know whether that’s possible or not (might depend on policies) but for me it’s like it’s not there.
